Operating at up to 600 Mbps (2.4 GHz) or 1,300 Mbps (5 GHz), the Archer C80 Gigabit Router works with 802.11n or 802.11ac to create high-speed wired and wireless network connections. It is designed for small enterprise and home use. It uses the MU-MIMO technology ensuring unprecedented transmission efficiency, making it possible to transmit HD video, VoIP communication and online games. There is a Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS) activation button on the stylish housing of the device to activate a connection that uses the WPA2 encryption mechanism to protect your network from outside threats.

The router supports wireless 802.11ac standard with 6 times the speed of previously available 802.11n connections. High performance and security of 802.11ac allows you to create a fast and reliable home network supporting multiple devices simultaneously.

The device creates two separate wireless networks in 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, which gives users the opportunity to simultaneously use two separate dedicated wireless networks at speeds that are suitable for even the most demanding applications. For example, less demanding everyday applications such as e-mail and web browser can be used in the 2.4 GHz band, while the 5 GHz band can be reserved for more demanding tasks, such as HD video streaming or online games.
