DS-2CD1047G0-L(C) is a cost-effective IP camera from Hikvision's ColorVu Lite series. With ColorVu technology, the camera can capture color images round the clock while retaining important identification details. In extreme conditions, a white light illuminator with a range of up to 30 m can automatically turn on and illuminate the scene to provide good quality color images. The camera is equipped with a 1/2.7" Progressive Scan CMOS sensor with a resolution of up 4 MP. The lens with a focal length of 2.8 mm allows viewing angles of 102°. Support for the legacy and latest H.265(+) compression methods allows for the archiving time of recordings to be extended while maintaining excellent image quality and backward compatibility. Additional functions to help improve image quality including: AGC, 3D-DNR, WDR, BLC, HLC allow you to adjust the camera's capabilities to suit the scene conditions. The IP67 rated housing protects the inside electronic components from adverse weather conditions. The camera can be powered conventionally with 12 VDC or through PoE (compliant with the 802.802.3af standard).

Compatible accessories and mounting methods

Nightshade is the perfect cover for criminals and thieves. The use of traditional cameras with infrared illuminators (IR) for night observation causes a loss of color information, which is crucial for many scenarios and data analysis. To address these issues, Hikvision has introduced a series of cost-effective ColorVu Lite cameras capable of viewing the scene in a color mode around the clock. The cameras in this series feature a large aperture F1.0 lens that, compared to a traditional camera with an F2.0 aperture lens, delivers 4 times more light to the sensor. The camera also features a white light LED illuminator (which can be disabled in the camera menu) that can turn on automatically in very dark scene conditions.

H.265(+): greater compression with H.264 video quality

The camera implements several video compression methods, H.265+, H.265, H.264+, H.264, MJPEG. Compared to H.264, the H.265 standard can reduce the data stream by half, which translates into proportional disk space savings and extended data retention time. H.265+ and H.264+ are Hikvision compression standards based on the original systems and optimized for CCTV applications. They further minimize the streams in typical video surveillance scenarios, compared to H.265 and H.264. With some video compression methods implemented, the camera can be used in CCTV systems based on modern NVRs implementing the H.265 standard (the DS-76/77/96NI-I/K series supports H.265+, H.265, H.264+, H.264). Legacy devices using the H.264 (the DS-76/77NI-E series supports H.264+, H.264) are also supported.

iVMS-4200 is a client software dedicated for the management of Hikvision systems such as NVRs (IP, TurboHD), video intercoms, access control, decoders, etc. The software makes it easy and convenient to control all the systems, providing a live view from IP cameras, remote playback, remote configuration, alarm event support, two-way audio transmission, e-maps, HDD recording, and many other functions. The app allows to manage up to 256 devices and streamed footage from 64 cameras on up to 4 monitors.

Hikvision devices can be operated via mobile phones with Android or iOS using the dedicated Hik-Connect mobile application. It can be used for remote live viewing from DVRs, NVRs, IP cameras, video intercoms over the WiFi, 2G or 3G and to view saved recordings. Operating video intercoms with the application provides also remote opening of the electric strike, receiving notifications and transferring calls from the entrance panel to the phone in the absence of the subscriber. The application supports connectivity over IP and a P2P cloud. Hik-Connect is also the name of the cloud service that provides access to devices in the absence of an external IP address.

The main window of the SADP software

SADP (Search Active Device Protocol) is a free, easy-to-use utility designed to search for Hikvision IP cameras and DVRs/NVRs in the local network. The network device search tool can also be used to modify device network parameters, e.g. to change or recover default passwords.
